Importance:
The development of design documentation and production preparation for the manufacture of pipeline valves for nuclear power plants is planned to be carried out using a CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM system, i.e., automated 3D design, parallel end-to-end automated production preparation, and parallel strength and flow path analysis of the 3D valve model, as well as automated management of engineering data from a single 3D mathematical product model.
This solution enables the implementation of an end-to-end production preparation cycle for a new product: «Product Design – Tooling Design – Control Program Development – Manufacturing» based on a single 3D product model.
